AKC FOUNDATION STOCK SERVICE

We are very excited to announce that all of our dogs are not only UKC registered, but they have all been accepted into the AKC Foundation Stock program as well. Because of our new status with the AKC, we are now registering each litter of puppies with the AKC Foundation Stock Service program, as well as with the UKC. Now you have a choice, if you purchase a puppy with us, whether to show them in UKC event, or to show them in a sporting event through the AKC! Of course, many people who purchase a puppy never plan to show, but it’s nice to know that you always have that option at a later time.
Note that purchase of ANY dog does not guarantee that he will be perfect for conformation events, as that usually cannot be determined until puppies are much older. But even if they don’t qualify for conformation, they can still participate in the sporting events.
By the way, when you purchase a puppy on-line, make sure you ask for your AKC or UKC registration documents even before you receive your puppy. If the application is not available at the time of sale, the seller should provide a signed Bill of Sale and full description of your dog in writing. Details should include:
– Breed of dog
– Date of Birth
– Male or female
– Registered name and number of the dog’s sire and dam
– Name of Breeder
– Date of Sale
– Signature of Seller
YOUR DOG IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REGISTRATION UNTIL THE LITTER IS REGISTERED!!!!
NOTE: You must register your puppy usually within one year of the date the litter is registered. Late registration may sometimes be allowed, but only after a late-fee is charged.
